At the core of WELLTHY MINDZ is a clinical framework rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and expressive arts-based interventions. By combining evidence-based therapeutic techniques with creative modalities, the program supports clients in examining thought patterns, reframing negative beliefs, and learning healthier ways to process emotions. The expressive arts component—including activities like drawing, movement, journaling, music expression, storytelling, and other creative exercises—enables clients to communicate experiences that may be difficult to express verbally. This holistic approach fosters deeper emotional insight, self-regulation, confidence, and overall mental wellness.

WELLTHY MINDZ is designed with flexibility in mind to ensure that mental health support is both accessible and comfortable. Most sessions are offered through telehealth, allowing clients to engage in therapy from the comfort of their homes while maintaining privacy, consistency, and convenience. This remote format is especially beneficial for youth and young adults balancing school, work, or limited transportation options.

We are committed to reducing barriers to care by offering a range of payment options, including self-pay and insurance coverage through: Oscar, Optum/United Healthcare, Blue Shield of California, Cigna, MHN, Magellan, Health Net, and Beacon Health Options.

To further support accessibility, we also provide a sliding scale fee, ensuring that cost is not an obstacle for those seeking support.

Whether a client is navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, trauma, or simply seeking healthier ways to cope and grow, WELLTHY MINDZ is here to walk alongside them. Our licensed clinicians approach each client with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and empowerment-centered care—meeting individuals exactly where they are and helping them move toward where they want to be.
