PERMANENT HOUSING PROGRAM

The CRIB (Community. Resilience. Independence. Belonging.) Permanent
Housing program provides a safe, supportive, and empowering home environment for young adults ages 18–26 who are exiting foster care, reentering from incarceration, or
experiencing homelessness.

House Key in Hand

Homes geographically dispersed to meet youth where they are, with centralized oversight, data management, and partner coordination through
Cr8tive Mindz.

Program Overview

CRIB is a permanent housing program designed for transition-age youth (18–26) who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, including youth exiting foster care, reentering the community after incarceration, or navigating housing instability.

CRIB provides a safe, stable place to live paired with intentional, youth-centered supportive services that help young people build the skills, confidence, and support systems needed to thrive in adulthood. Our model centers dignity, choice, and community—meeting youth where they are while walking alongside them as they move toward independence.

Core Program Components

  • Stable housing in shared homes designed to foster community and belonging

  • Life skills development (financial literacy, employment readiness, education planning, and daily living skills)

  • Mental health and wellness support, including therapy and emotional skill-building

  • Individualized case management focused on each young person’s goals

  • Intensive to light-touch case management, relationship-based support that promotes autonomy while ensuring accountability

CRIB is built on the belief that housing is the foundation, and healing, growth, and opportunity follow when young people feel safe and supported.
